Chapter 1, Theft and Coverup

PART 1 Drug Court

The Drug Court is a great concept and process to give people another chance when they make a mistake. It can keep people from continued punishment forever when they choose to turn their life around. 

Members of our group have worked to help create and set protocols of how the court should operate. 

We support the Drug Court process. With that said let's talk about Nye County Drug Court.

PART 2 Who was exposing

In 2018 a member of the media who ran a local low wattage radio station was informed by members of the County Commissioners that during an required annual audit evidence that a District Court Judge was stealing the money taking in by the Drug Court. The Worse part was that this had been going on for six and half years. 

Q, How do people within the government get away with stealing unknown sums of money for so long?

A. The short answer is that Nye does not follow standard accounting practices and the staff is not properly trained. Why this is permitted to continue, well it may have to do with the parties who participated in this.

PART 3 The Participants

The media started exposing what was happening and that in fact monies were stolen. The parties involved held high levels of authority within the county. They are:

Judge Robert Lane

Judge Kimberly Wanker

District Attorney Robert Beckett

Clerk of the Court Tammi Odengard

District Attorney Brian Kunzi

Attorney General of Nevada Adam Laxalt

Nye County Comptroller Susan Paprocki 

Accounting Department

How was this done. So, the Court is operated by the District Court in Nye County. There was to be a transition from Judge Robert Lane to Judge Kimberly Wanker. 

Judge Wanker was correct to ask for an audit prior to the transition from Lane. During that audit what was found was beyond shocking. 

1. The cost to run the court was billed to the County.

2. The monies collected were routed outside of the County control to a 501c3

3. This 501c3 was named the Fifth Judicial District Adult Drug Court

4. The address listed on the Secretary of State website utilizes Nye County offices.

5. Nobody was held accountable and they actually attacked anyone who went up against the coverup.

6. They went so far as to kidnap and incarcerate a member of the media who was exposing them.

Image the surprise when people who are ruling and overseeing the courts are part of the theft and coverup. 

This audit 2013 was very eye opening. A link to the documents are provided below. Yes, there are so many other things being stated as errors as far as the County. We have not even scratched the surface. 

So, for six and half years the county paid for the expenses and the official looking named 501c3 with governmental office address was operating. The monies which were to keep the Drug Court operating were pilfered. We have no idea the amount and the auditors themselves said we may never know. 

PART 4 No Action

This information was being relayed over the airwaves of an FCC licensed radio station. Bringing the truth to the people and to get action to be taken. Well the incoming District Attorney Brian Kunzi chose to use intimidation and direct threats to anyone who wanted actions. He stated clearly that he would not defend them if they continued bring this matter up or requesting action. Luckily, he did not get re-elected. Unfortunately, the new incoming DA Cris Arabia did nothing as well.  The Commissioners even went over the head of Kunzi to the Attorney General of the State, Adam Laxalt who as well did nothing. 

Further it appears that Judge Wanker also did nothing. She was aware of what occurred and as a member of the Judiciary she had a required duty to take action and take that information to every level to ensure that Judge Lane and co-conspirators were held accountable. As a judge deferring and failing to follow up is not an excuse.  

PART 5 The attack

This is a long section of this story and will be written soon. It involves persecution, unlawful incarceration, manipulation of jury, blocking of exculpatory evidence

Upon further investigation what we find is that the State of Nevada Supreme Court ordered the Judge to release Anthony Greco from the illegal incarceration. The Judge failed to follow the court and to this date is in direct difiance and contempt of the Supreme Court. While you would think that action would be taken. NOPE. 

The most egregious matter in this was that the Judge was also the one who was being exposed for stealing. Judge Robert Lane. He knew he was in direct conflict and could not hear this case. This was not a true case, nor was the rules of the court followed. 

Mr. Greco is and was innocent. He was persecuted because of what he was exposing. Plain and simple. When criminals cover up their deeds they go after each and every person and stifle anyone who steps out of line. Throughout the stories we will show additional times this has occurred.

Once again, the agencies which should protect and defend the Constitution have failed miserably.
